Posted February 13, 2019 12:32:06 Two photos that have popped up online show a glimpse of what the future holds for the new Disney theme parks in Florida.
The photos were shared on Instagram by local legend writer Jason Jones.
Jones shared the photos on March 16, the same day that Walt Disney World announced the construction of the new Walt Disney Animation Studios.
One photo shows the construction site at Disney Springs in Florida with construction crews digging trenches, which Jones says show a look at what’s coming.
Another photo shows a construction site for a new ride at Magic Kingdom, also in Florida, with the word “Disney” written on it.
More photos of the construction sites for the Walt Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom have appeared on social media.
In one of the photos, a construction worker is seen walking on a sidewalk in front of the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.
Construction on the construction will begin in October 2019.
Disney is planning to build the new parks at two sites in Florida: Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Amphitheater in Orlando.
Disney plans to build each park at a different location.
Disney also plans to open two new parks in 2019: Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
The two parks will be named after famous Disney characters and locations.
As for the construction at the Disney Springs site, Disney says it’s a “large-scale construction project that includes a major overhaul of the existing Disney Springs theme park to include a brand-new, fully operational Disney-themed resort and hotel, as well as a new, fully functional theme park.”
Disney has also said the parks will include a “new, enhanced experience” that will feature “a more engaging, immersive and authentic experience for guests.”
“It’s been a long time coming, and we look forward to the fans enjoying the experience with their families and friends,” said a Disney spokesperson.
“Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2019 and will be completed by the end of 2020.”
